The landscape of education is undergoing a transformative shift, and homeschooling isn’t a viable choice for everyone. Norris University and advancing technology have introduced a brilliantly straightforward approach to enhance study time, harnessing familiar software that most students  in  grades 1-12 are already accustomed to, such as Khan Academy and YouTube University. Our approach involves designing a curriculum and content on a platform that students are already well-acquainted with, as opposed to grappling with intricate software that often comes with glitches and places undue burdens on parents.

CEO & Founder

In my capacity as the C.E.O. of Norris University and Advancing Technology, I want to underscore that my mission isn’t driven by a desire for immense profits. But to address a distinct issue – one that involves grappling with glitches, freezes, financial penalties, and other complications. Drawing from my experience as a 21-year educator, I am fully attuned to the evolving nature of education.  Norris University and Advancing Technology can appreciate that not all families adhere to conventional schedules, and we are committed to solving this unique challenge.  A new study tells us why we should be embracing new models of education.

Transforming education: Why K-12 education could look very different in the near future

One-size-fits-all education is still the default, and that needs to change.  We’re committed to promoting individualized content curriculums across the board, because individualized education is needed now more than ever.

The COVID-19 pandemic exposed major problems with the education system, especially the lack of options tailored to every learner.  It’s a problem that stretches back decades — and the time has come to solve it.  Norris University and Advancing Technology is addressing parents’ issues with creating the correct academic content- in a sequential order- that maximizes study time.  We do this by emphasizing an individualized content curriculum in the simplest way, and  by using software that most students are familiar with.

About Us

By integrating familiar platforms such as Khan Academy and the wealth of educational content available on YouTube University, I am aiming to streamline the learning process. This approach sidesteps the complications associated with intricate software that often encounters freezes and glitches. Moreover, many students are already well-versed in navigating these platforms due to their prior exposure throughout their academic journeys.
